Since 2004 AVEBIOM has been compromised with the continued promotion and development of the biomass utilization in Spain to grow the biomass sector and decarbonise the industrial, residential, agrarian and service sectors. AVEBIOM works in innovation promotion as a key for the more sustainable use of biomass, and participated in promotional EU projects like Biomasud Plus, AgroBioHeat, BRANCHES. AVEBIOM organises the Spanish referential biomass events like Expobiomasa fair (>15,000 visitors), Renewable Gas Salon (>2,000 visitors) or the International Bioenergy Congress. AVEBIOM broadcast the Biomasa News channel, including monthly e-Newsletter and semester magazine with 20,000 printouts. AVEBIOM defends the sectoral interests and performs actions of market monitoring and information. AVEBIOM is part of Bioenergy Europe and is well connected to EU policies and key actors.
