It undertakes projects that aim to facilitate the transition towards the circular economy through the activation of citizens. The activation of citizens is a necessary condition in order to live in circular neighborhoods and consequently in circular cities. We believe that by “closing the circle” in our neighborhoods, we can all enjoy a better quality of life in them, with less waste, energy-saving practices, and cooperation between citizens and agencies, while nobody and nothing is left behind. Incommon’s innovative and holistic approach and methodology put active citizenship and participatory design at the forefront of the process.
