iBO – CERTH: The Centre for Research and Technology-Hellas (CERTH) is the only research Centre in Northern Greece and one of the largest in the country. It is a legal entity governed by private law with non-profit status, supervised by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT) of the Hellenic Republic.

Delphy: Delphy is a leading international agricultural consultancy organisation, based in The Netherlands. The main activities of Delphy comprise advisory services, practice-oriented research, demonstrations and training activities for farmers and growers and innovative projects in the plant-based sectors like arable farming, bulbs, tree cultivation, soft fruit, top fruit and horticulture.

Valorial: Valorial is an agri-food competitiveness cluster covering western France. Valorial’s scope extends across the 3 regions – Brittany, Pays de la Loire and Normandy – and brings together 400 members (industrial firms, research centres and higher education establishments), and a community of more than 5,000 innovators focusing on developing smarter food.

Natureplast: NaturePlast is an innovative company that produces and markets plant-based and/or biodegradable plastics. NaturePlast’s mission focus on prioritizing local partners, formulating and designing materials that meet the challenges of sustainable development, promoting locally the by-products of French industries and supporting manufacturers in the use of more responsible materials.

Izes: The IZES gGmbH is an institute associated with the University of Applied Sciences of Saarland (htw saar). It was created by the initiative of the Federal State Saarland, several energy companies and energy service providers, as well as the University of Saarland and the University of Applied Sciences of Saarland (htw saar), aiming to promote science and research as well as environmental protection.

University of Aarhus : Aarhus University is Denmark’s second-largest university, with 38,000 students, five faculties, research activities all over the country and campuses in Aarhus, Herning and Emdrup. IUNG: The Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation – State Research Institute (IUNG-PIB) is a continuation of 150 years of the activity of agricultural centers in Puławy – thus representing the oldest tradition on the European continent in this regard. Currently, IUNG has the status of state research institute operating under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).

AVEBIOM: AVEBIOM was founded in 2004 to become the Spanish union of biomass value chain actors. Since 2004 AVEBIOM has been compromised with the continued promotion and development of the biomass utilisation in Spain to grow the biomass sector and decarbonise the industrial, residential, agrarian and service sectors.

CBE: The Biomass Centre for Energy (CBE) is a scientific and technical association, non-profitable, privately owned, provided with public utility, which aims to promote the sustainable use of biomass for energy, through the optimization and knowledge of its various value chains, from the production and management of biomass, through the collection, processing and transport, to the end use, thus contributing for the improvement of integrated resources management, for the prevention of rural fires and for energy transition.

AIEL: AIEL, the Italian Agroforestry Energies Association, is the association of companies operating along the wood-energy chain: from producers of woody biofuels (wood, wood chips, pellets) to producers of technologies for transforming these biofuels into heat and energy (stoves, inserts fireplace, boilers, cogeneration groups).

InCommOn: A Civil non profit Company working in the sector of the circular economy and active citizenship. It undertakes projects that aim to facilitate the transition towards the circular economy through the activation of citizens. The activation of citizens is a necessary condition in order to live in circular neighbourhoods and consequently in circular cities. We believe that by “closing the circle” in our neighbourhoods, we can all enjoy a better quality of life in them, with less waste, energy-saving practices, and cooperation between citizens and agencies, while nobody and nothing is left behind.

AlgEn: An active participant in the blooming area of algal technologies, especially in the fields of development & system integration of algae technology systems, algal cultivation, and wastewater treatment. Algal technologies have the potential to change the world: e.g. production of biofuels from algae, bio-sequestration of greenhouse gas emissions, extraction of precious organic materials.

Green Energy Cluster: Green Energy Innovative Biomass Cluster has been founded with the aim to raise the interest in the production and utilisation of biomass, the most important renewable energy source in Romania. Green Energy Cluster is a social economy cluster that ensures the framework to develop solutions in the field of biomass by putting emphasis on the ecological and social innovations.

Green Growth Platform: Green Growth Platform (GGP) is a non-governmental organisation that aims to empower the concept of green growth in all segments of the national and regional economies. GGP is focused on three main pillars: agriculture and rural development, environment and innovations. All three pillars are based on two horizontal dimensions: sustainability and EU compliance.
